Hello friends! A couple of weeks ago, I took a break from my job hunt woes and cold Chicago for a mini vaca in Laguna Beach, California. It was everything I hoped and more. I celebrated my fiancee's mother's birthday, who is such a lovely woman, and we always have a great time together. We did a ton of hiking, some yoga, a little shopping in town and my favorite part of the trip was walking along the beach - soaking in the bright sun with the fresh, clean smell of California. I was in love! My trip was short but I took a day to visit LA, where my uncle lives, and I reunited with my college girlfriend. Life is just perfect sometimes, ya know?
